Miranda Lambert is my kind of woman because she’s her own woman. Her single “Dead Flowers” was released to radio yesterday. Critics, for what that’s worth, love the song she debuted at the ACM Awards. Miranda told Kid Rock on stage recently she’d “shoot” him if he kept messing with the lyrics to the song “Picture” as they were performing a duet. With songs like “Kerosene”, “Gunpowder ‘n Lead”…I think you are barking up the wrong tree if you mess with Miranda. Click here for all the details…

Along those same lines a site called Urban Country Blog is asking Keith Urban fans to sign a petition asking Capitol Records, Keith’s label, to release “Till Summer Comes Around” as his next single. Hmmm, listening to your customers and giving them what they want…now that’s a novel idea. Woof. Find out more and where to vote…

Taylor Swift’s video of “The Best Day” is somewhat a tribute to her mom as it shows video clips of her with mom and dad and little brother when Taylor was but a wee little country star. Taylor sings about the wisdom and strength her family gave her. My family gives me dog food and treats. Here’s Taylor’s story…

And Canadian country music star Adam Gregory is gonna co-star in the film adaptation of the best-selling Christian book What Would Jesus Do. Doesn’t say what role he’ll play as he stars with John Schneider of Dukes of Hazard fame. Maxine Bahns from The Mentalist is also in the film. Adam has a single titled “What Would Jesus Do”. Two hot guys and a hot lady…sounds similar to the Dukes show…too bad Waylon’s not around to narrate. Here’s more…
