CountryHound Fans Choose Top Dogs For ACM Awards

5/16/2008 Webb CountryHound asked our fans to point out their choices for who they think should win in Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards.  In the biggest category, Rascall Flatts was the lucky dog, taking top place for the ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year with 34% of the votes.  Brad Paisley and Keith Urban tied for second with 21% each. Carrie Underwood was the pick of the litter for the ACM Awards Top Female Vocalist with a whopping 44%.  Miranda Lambert came in second with 20%. Kenny Chesney nosed out George Strait as the ACM Awards Top Male Vocalist, they had 26% and 23% respectively.  Meanwhile, Luke Bryan and Jack Ingram tied as the ACM Awards Top New Male Vocalist with 34% of the votes each, while Jake Owen came in with 31%. They jumped all over Taylor Swift as The ACM Awards Top New Female Vocalist, with 68% of the votes.  A not-so-close second was Kellie Pickler with 22%.
