Country Music group Rascal Flatts will rely on their giant fan base to bring home what would be a sparkling addition to an already impressive list of accolades achieved in the group’s short history.
The Country act was recently nominated for the ACM Entertainer of the Year Award, an award that will be voted on by the fans for the first time in its history. Other ACM Award nominees include Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.
“We’re excited that this year the ACM Entertainer of the Year category will be voted on by the fans, the very people who make our music possible,” said lead singer Gary LeVox. “And since it’s an election year everyone can get in some practice and vote this week for their favorite ACM Entertainer of the Year,” group member Jay DeMarcus added.
The group recently wrapped its Still Feels Good Tour, which Pollstar ranked as the number one selling Country tour for the first quarter of 2008. Rascal Flatts will soon begin rehearsal for their Bob That Head Tour, which will kick off June 13 in St. Louis.
