CMA and ABC Offer Preview to 44th Annual CMA Awards

ABC and CMA are teaming up to air a 30-minute program that will feature interviews with Country Music artists who are scheduled to attend the upcoming 44th Annual CMA Awards show, as well as highlights from past shows.

　

“Road to the CMA Awards” is produced by CMA and will air on local ABC affiliates between Oct. 30 and Nov. 10.

Some of the stars included on the special will be Trace Adkins, Danny Gokey, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

　

The 44th Annual CMA Awards show is set to air live on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. EST from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on ABC. The awards show will be hosted by Paisley and Underwood. This is the second consecutive year the performers have hosted together.

　

Gwyneth Paltrow will also be featured in her first ever live Country Music performance during the awards show. The actress/singer will perform a duet with Vince Gill.
