I Knew Carrie Would Stumble Sooner or Later
My favorite former American Idol, Carrie Underwood, wore a long dress when she performed on the show the other night for a reason. Carrie confessed to GACTV.com that she recently took a tumble while out running and skinned up her legs pretty bad. I wonder if she was chasing cars?

Taylor Has New Hardware
Not computers…awards. Taylor Swift picked up two awards in L.A. the other night, the BMI President’s Award and a “Pop” award for her crossover hit “Teardrops On My Guitar”. I always knew that girl would make something of herself.

Take Jason Michael Carroll Out To The Ball Game
Tuesday May 26 Jason Michael Carroll will sing the national anthem before the Cubs v. Pirates game in Chicago. Then he’ll throw out the first pitch, lead the crowd in “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”, and announce the 7th inning stretch. What’s his ERA?

Joe Nichols Proves Anything’s Possible
South Carolina teacher Sonya Boyles wanted to prove to her underprivileged students that anything is possible. So she had them undertake a letter writing campaign to Joe Nichols, playing off his hit “The Impossible”, to get him to come by. Joe helped the teacher prove her point by dropping by the other day and performing for the kids. Way to go Joe! Some tails were wagging that day!

Memorial Day Woof To Amy and Vince
And a big Memorial Day Woof to Vince Gill and Amy Grant. They will host a benefit concert June 8 at The Kennedy Center for wounded veterans of war. Others performing are Alison Krauss, Michael McDonald and Darius Rucker. Funds go to Challenge America, which helps wounded vets return to an active life.

Webb’s Memorial Day Woof – “If you didn’t have enemies you would never have the chance to learn patience.”
Don’t Forget To Kiss Me For The Brown Dog Foundation                              I'm pitching in for a very good cause, to help the Brown Dog Foundation's Coronation Pawty fundraiser.  The Brown Dog Foundation helps pay the veterinarian bills for people who's pets need medical care but the owner's cannot afford it.  Twenty-two dogs and cats from across Tennessee have been campaigning to win.  June 6th from 6-8 PM at The Farm at Natchez Trace (just outside Nashville) they'll have the Coronation Pawty.  It's $15 per person, animals free, all for a good cause.  And they're serving my favorite beverage - Flying Dog Beer - and serving Whitt's BBQ.
Best part is I never kiss and tell.  Ya'll come!
