Love and Theft’s New Release Offers Variety of Free Extras
Fast-rising country group Love and Theft wanted to give fans who buy their new release World Wide Open. Various stores will have different limited edition versions of World Wide Open. The group spent tens of hours on buses, airplanes and inhotel rooms autographing the signature edition that can be found in Target stores.  At Wal-Mart and walmart.com when you purchase Love And Theft’s World Wide Open it will contain a code to download 3 demo/acoustic versions of the band’s songs. And the CDs at Best Buy will contain a poster of Love And Theft inside the package. What a deal…I mean steal.
 
Rosanne Cash Does Hall of Fame
Rosanne Cash has a new release of cover songs coming out. It is called The List  because its songs her father Johnny Cash told her were essential country songs. Now Rosanne is going to play The List to an invitation only crowd at the Country Music Hall of Fame September 15. I guess this doesn’t matter a lot to you unless your on THAT list?
 
Grand Ole Opry Goes Classics Again
The Grand Ole Opry will present Opry Country Classics again this fall for an 8-week run. The shows feature classic country music along with vintage clips and will feature country music artists like Moe Bandy, Terri Clark, Jimmy Dickens, Larry Gatlin, Vince Gill, Jamey Johnson, George Jones, Ray Price, Joe Stampley, Marty Stuart, Mel Tillis, Pam Tillis, and Tanya Tucker singing the classics. You can get a seasons pass too. That’s classic.
