Well he’s gotta keep himself busy somehow now that he’s taken a year off touring, so Kenny Chesney has just finished making a film titled The Boys of Fall. It’s about high school football. Kenny was a wide receiver in high school and says the lessons learned in football have helped him throughout his life. Luckily one of those lessons was that he was better at singing than at football!
 
Brooks & Dunn Done Postponed Some Shows
Saying that Ronnie Dunn has been put on vocal rest, Brooks & Dunn have postponed a couple shows in Virginia on their “Last Rodeo” tour. They also had to pull out of the “Nashville Rising” flood benefit concert being hosted by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Here’s to a quick recovery Ronnie…try a little whiskey and rock candy. It’ll help, one way or the other.
 
LeAnn Rimes Divorce Final
LeAnn Rimes has finalized her divorce from Dean Sheremet. LeAnn is in a relationship with Eddie Cibrian now. He’s in the process of divorcing his wife. LeAnn says she’s sorry people got hurt by her and Eddie’s affair. Meanwhile he’s been dropped from his role in CSI: Miami. I guess that show’s just too family oriented?
 
Jimmy Buffett To The Aid of Gulf Coast Victims
Jimmy Buffett is headlining “CMT Presents Jimmy Buffett And Friends: Live From The Gulf Coast” on July 1. It is a concert to raise money for Gulf Coast victims of BP’s disastrous oil spill, and to give tourists and residents in the area a little fun time. Tickets go on sale June 23. Those folks in that area could use a few cheeseburgers and Margaritas about now.

4th Annual Alex LeVasseur Fundraiser This Sunday
The 4th Annual Alex LeVasseur Fundraiser will be held Sunday June 23 at Jim Warren Park in Franklin, Tenn. It is a tribute to the son of hit songwriter Jeffrey Steele who dies tragically at age 13. He was an avid skater. The Alex LeVasseur Memorial Scholarship Program partners with Rocketown and the Sixth Avenue Skate Park in Nashville to aide overlooked and underprivileged youth by supporting programs to keep them motivated in school and in life through skating, and by helping with the cost of skate camps.
