Carrie Underwood Announces 'Play On' Tour

Country Music superstar Carrie Underwood is giving her fans an early Christmas present, as the vocalist announced this week the plans for her spring Play On tour. This North American 2010 tour will start March 11 in Reading, Penn., with special guests Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia.

"I am getting so excited about next year as we are currently working through all the big plans for the tour," said Underwood. "I cannot wait to perform new music and see familiar faces across the U.S. and Canada!"

The first 45 shows will run through May 30, 2010. Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday, Dec. 18.

Underwood's current album, Play On, launched at the No. 1 spot on both the Country and pop album sales charts and has sold more than 700,000 copies in five weeks.
