In light of the upcoming release of “Hannah Montana The Movie,” both Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus debuted new singles this week.  Miley topped charts at No. 48 with her latest release, “The Climb,” while her father respectfully charted at No. 59 with his single, “Back to Tennessee.”  Both songs are to appear on the Hannah Montana soundtrack, in stores on March 24.  The duo made history, having been the first father/daughter musicians in almost 20 years to make separate appearances on the chart.  Johnny and Rosanne Cash have held the honor since 1990.  After only 3 weeks on air, “The Climb,” Miley’s first country single has become one of the most anticipated records of the year.    “Back to Tennessee,” is the title track off Billy Ray’s latest 12-track album.  Several prominent country music writing legends came together in creating the album, while Cyrus himself co-wrote 2 songs.    The final track on Billy Ray Cyrus’s Back to Tennessee album features a duet of “Butterfly, Fly Away” with his daughter.    To learn more about Billy Ray Cyrus visit www.billyraycyrus.com or www.myspace.com/billyraycyrus . See what the Big Dog has to say about this, read Webb's Woof.
