Georgia is putting music to the ears visitors to the peach-loving state, with a new project from the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Travelers that stop by a visitor information center will be greeted by music from Georgia natives Bill Anderson, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Trisha Yearwood, Sugarland, the Allman Brothers Band, R.E.M., Collective Soul, Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, and others.  The project is a partnership between the GDED and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. A companion set of CDs "The Soundtrack of YourLife," are in the works. State visitors can hear the Georgia singers at rest stops in Augusta, Columbus, Savannah, Tallapoosa, Valdosta, Lavonia and Ringgold.
