Van Zant Stick to Their Kind of Country

Van Zant, the country-rock duo comprised of brothers Johnny and Donnie, will release their second album, My Kind of Country, on Oct. 9. It's the follow-up their gold-certified 2005 release, Get Right with the Man. Johnny says he confident that people who liked that album are going to like this one. “It’s like the last record that we did-every song we believed in,” he says. “If we can’t relate to a song, how can we expect the audience to relate to it?” The duo recently released “Goes Down Easy,” the first single from the new CD.
