Try to Stop Dierks Bentley!

Betts   Dierks Bentley’s new single, “Trying To Stop Your Leaving,” which will be released on Jan. 28, 2008 is the fourth to be released from his CMA-nominated album Long Trip Alone. The song was co-written by Dierks wth Jim Beavers and Brett Beavers. “There is a real sense of urgency and emotion in the story of this song,” says Dierks. “I actually took some time off the road to make sure my voice was the strongest instrument in the room that day, and I'm really proud of this recording.” Long Trip Alone debuted at No. 1, and so far has generated two No. 1 singles (“Every Mile a Memory,” and “Free and Easy.” The title track was a Top 10 hit.   Dierks continues his Throttle Wide Open into 2008 with opening artists Bucky Covington and Luke Bryan joining the trek in February.
