Tim McGraw Fights for His Favorite Chair

Like most men, Tim McGraw has a special place in his living room where he always sits. The singer told Reader's Digest he loves his “ugly brown, double wide” recliner, though his wife is not too fond of the beat up two-seater.
 
“I have my own chair. It's a double-wide recliner. It's ugly brown leather -- fake leather, probably," McGraw said. "We're building a new house, and Faith swears it's not going to make the trip. She hates it, until she sits in it. Then she loves it!"
 
McGraw said being the man of the house allows him to stake claim on his coveted chair, though it is often occupied by his female counterparts. McGraw loves to watch his favorite NFL teams, Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints, while sitting in the recliner. He also admitted that he enjoys a sappy, tear jerker everyone now and then.

"[I cry at] everything! I'm half-Irish -- I cry at commercials!" he joked "I recently saw a movie called 'The Greatest.' We watched it at 8 a.m., and I was ruined for the rest of the day. I had a headache from crying."

After much anticipation, McGraw’s newest album Southern Voice was released to stores this week.
