Taylor Swift Rocks Out With Def Leppard

One of Country’s youngest stars Taylor Swift recently performed with Great Britain’s legendary arena rock group Def Leppard for an episode of CMT Crossroads. Fans can watch for this rockin’ episode on CMT Friday, Nov. 7 at 9 p.m. EST.  Performing with Def Leppard helped Swift to fulfill her “childhood dream.” They performed songs like “Hysteria,” “Pour Some Sugar On Me” and “Picture to Burn.” In a release from CMT, Swift described the experience as one of the most amazing things she’s ever done.“Performing with Def Leppard was awesome!” said Swift. “It was the coolest thing in the world to have my band on stage with them, because for the past two years, before we go on stage we listen to Def Leppard and just rock out and jump around…It was the most amazing feeling in the world, and we were all just trying to act cool the whole time.”Other artists to grace the Crossroads stage include famous pairings like Lindsey Buckingham and Little Big Town, John Fogerty and Keith Urban and Kelly Clarkson with Reba McEntire. Def Leppard joins the list of legendary artists to join with Country superstars. They’ve sold over 65 million albums worldwide and are still going strong. Taylor Swift is known as the first Country MySpace sensation and has toured with artists like George Strait, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley.
