A few of country music's biggest sensations helped to celebrate the launch of the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothon season.

Country Cares brings together the music industry to support the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the countless lives that have been affected by the leading children's cancer hospital.

Stars like Ronnie Dunn, The Band Perry, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Joey + Rory, Casey James and Randy Owen were in attendance to show their support and raise the nation's awareness of St. Jude.

Over 30 artists, including the JaneDear girls, Jennette McCurdy, Troy Olsen, Eli Young and The Grascals, toured the hospital and met with parents.

Country Cares was started by country music star and hall of famer Randy Owen. Owen began this event to help support the mission of St. Jude, where no child is turned away due to a family’s ability to pay.

“It’s been incredible to see country radio and the country music industry embrace this program the way it has,” Owen said. “St. Jude has held a special place in my heart since I met Danny many years ago and it’s been really great to see how much progress has been made with cancer research since the time we started this program in 1989.”

Country Cares has produced over $385 million for St. Jude since 1989.
