Classic Chris LeDoux CD/DVD Coming

3/4/2008 Stephen L. Betts A new CD/DVD collection celebrating the life and music of the late Chris LeDoux will be released next month. Classic Chris LeDoux will feature 15 audio tracks and 15 videos, including the collaboration with Jon Bon Jovi, “Bang a Drum,” and Chris’ duet with Garth Brooks, “Whatcha Gonna Do with  Cowboy.” The video for “Ridin’ for a Fall” will make its debut on this set. Chris LeDoux was a genuine cowboy; a rodeo professional for many years, he earned the World Championship in Bareback Bronc riding in 1976. While still a rodeo rider Chris began to write and record music about his way of life, which found favor with his peers. It also found its way to the ears of Garth Brooks, who later included Chris’ name in his debut single “Much Too Young to Feel This Damn Old.” He died in March 2005, at age 56, of complications from liver cancer. Classic Chris LeDoux will be in stores on April 29.
