WWE star and upcoming Country artist Mickie James has had to push back her debut album release date due to being hospitalized with a staphylococcus infection. She developed the infection after discovering a small bug bite on her knee.
James has had two surgeries and is recovering, but had to push back her album release as well as miss out on some of her previously scheduled WWE events because of the infection. “As of late, I’ve been burning this candle at both ends, non-stop” said James. “I think this is probably God’s way of telling me to slow it down and breath… so that’s exactly what I’m doing!”
The new release date for James' album, Strangers and Angels, will be May 18.
