Country sensation and Disney star Miley Cyrus has been around Country Music her entire life. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, released his famous hit, “Achy Breaky Heart,” in 1992, which helped support his family until he branched out into television and movies. So it comes to a surprise to Country fans when Miley revealed her true feelings about the "politics" of Country Music.
“It scares me. It feels contrived on so many levels,” Miley said in an interview with Parade magazine. “Unless you’re wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots and singing and whining about your girlfriend or boyfriend leaving you it’s not going to sell. I think that’s why my dad finally got out of it. You have to wear those cowboy boots and be sweet as pie. It makes me nervous, the politics of it all.”
Although Miley feels nervous in the Country Music world, she has recently recorded a duet with Poison lead singer Bret Michaels called, “Nothing to Lose.” The single was recorded three different times, including a Country version.
