Following his recent success on the Country Music circuit, Zac Brown admits that he has given into his self-proclaimed obsession with guitars – the 30-year-old has purchased 15 vintage guitars since hit single “Chicken Fried” landed the No. 1 spot on the charts. Among his latest purchases include a vintage guitar with a $13,000 price tag.

While Brown doesn’t mind dropping the big bucks on collector’s items, he enjoys being involved in assisting Brain Balance centers, which use physical therapy and nutrition to assist children with autism and ADHD. Brown is currently working to build a camp in Georgia for children with autism, ADHD and other severe disorders.

“I grew up working at camps similar to this,” Brown said. “You can see in one week the difference you can make in a child’s life. When you integrate these mentally challenged kids with regular kids, they’ll have a compassion for those people for the rest of their lives.”
