Zac Brown Has Many Special Guests for CMA Music Festival Performance

NASHVILLE - Zac Brown Band, the winner of the 2010 CMA New Artist of the Year Award, has invited several of their musical friends to join them for individual songs during the group's performance during the Nightly Concert at LP Field at 2011 CMA Music Festival, Thursday, June 9.

Five-time CMA Award winner Randy Travis, acclaimed folk/jazz/soul artist Amos Lee, and singer/songwriter Sonia Leigh (who is signed with Brown's record label, Southern Ground Artists, Inc.) will each make a guest appearance to perform with Zac Brown Band during the CMA Music Festival performance.  CMA Music Festival benefits music education in Metro Nashville Public Schools through a partnership with the Nashville Alliance for Public Education. Since 2006, more than $4.7 million has been donated to purchase musical instruments and supplies. The total also includes an annual endowment gift for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Words & Music program. The philanthropic program, titled "Keep the Music Playing," was created by the CMA Board to give back to the community on behalf of the artists who make appearances and perform for free.
