XM Radio to Air Coverage of CMA Music Fest

6/3/2008 Cliff Chartrand XM Radio will broadcast many events from the CMA Music Festival on several of its Country Music channels throughout the rest of the week. “X Country” (XM 12), “Bluegrass Junction” (XM 14), and “Highway 16” (XM 16), will feature live daily shows from the Sommet Center Plaza’s Chevy Music Stage beginning with the Chevy Kick-Off Parade and Block Party Concert on Wednesday, June 4. “Highway 16” will also be the only station to air broadcasts from Fan Club parties occurring at Music Fest. Sara Evans, Josh Turner, Rodney Atkins, Mark Chesnutt, and Tracy Lawrence are among the artists who will have events featured throughout the week. Listeners can also hear coverage of the “Marty Stuart Late Night Jam” on June 4. The seventh annual event featuring performances by Stuart, Charlie Daniels Band, and others can be heard on “X Country” and “America” (XM 10). XM will also air the Second Annual Songwriters Showcase Concerts benefiting Musicians On Call, live from the Hard Rock Café.
