WWE Champ Mickie James Trades in Moves for Microphone

Six-time World Wrestling Entertainment champion Mickie James has traded her signature move, the Mick-a-rana, for a microphone and will be featured on several national programs this week to promote her debut Country Music album, Strangers & Angels.
 
James, 30, began wrestling in 1999 and won her first WWE Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 22 in Chicago. She is one of the most successful contenders in female wrestling with 15 titles and in 2009 was voted Woman of the Year by Pro Wrestling Magazine.
 
Members of the ‘James Gang’ can tune in to FOX Business Network’s American Nightly Scoreboard tonight, Thursday, at 7 p.m. EST to see James support her album, released May 18. She will also appear on FOX News Channel’s Redeye at 3 a.m. EST and Fox & Friends at 6 a.m. EST on Friday, June 18. FoxNews.com will feature James at 11:45 a.m. EST on Friday as a part of the Strategy Room.
 

Sirius-XM Radio will also be showcasing the performer on XM channel 202 Opie & Anthony: Special Delivery, airing Monday - Friday at 6-11 a.m. EST and Sirius channel 811's Busted Open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 - 4 p.m. EST.
