9/19/2007 Stephen L. Betts In its six-year history, Darryl Worley's annual Tennessee River Run has raised more than $500,000, for health-care charities supported by Darryl's foundation.  "There just aren't enough words out there to say how much I appreciate y'all coming out and helping us raise money for these charities," Darryl told the crowd at this year’s event. The event combines a golf tournament, adult and children's fishing competitions and a motorcycle poker, food and country music, all set on the riverbanks of Pickwick Landing State Park, just outside Darryl’s hometown of Savannah, Tenn.  This year’s sold-out closing concert featured Darryl, along with the Charlie Daniels Band, Trick Pony, Jason Michael Carroll and Cheri Robinson. During the opening National Anthem, two Tennessee Army National Guard Apache attack helicopters performed a flyover and maneuvers.
