9/17/2007 Stephen L. Betts Willie Nelson will be on the road again for a tour that starts Thursday (Sept. 20) at the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, Mo. Last week, according to CMT.com, Willie canceled several shows after appearing at the Farm Aid concert in New York City on Sept. 9. Now the website reports that most of the cancelled shows will take place after all. “He got bombarded with e-mails, calls and requests, and he decided he didn't want to let the fans down,” promoter Jeff Fortier told WDAF-TV in Kansas City. Also back on Willie’s schedule are shows on Sept. 21 in Lake Ozark, Mo., Sept. 22 in LaSalle, Ill., Sept. 25 in Sioux City, Iowa, and Sept. 26 in Rapid City, S.D. According to the Web site for the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua concert series in Bayfield, Wis., his Sept. 23 show is canceled there, although it is still listed on the tour page at www.willienelson.com as of late Monday (9/17).
