Willie Nelson’s drug bust left him with a fine. According to CNN, Nelson must pay a fine of $500 for his marijuana arrest made on November 26, 2010. Border Patrol smelled pot coming from Nelson’s tour bus at a checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

The charge was changed from possession of marijuana to possession of drug paraphernalia. And if Willie manages not to get into any more trouble within the next 30 days, his charge will be dropped from his record.

Nelson’s attorney Joe Turner says that Willie worries about these situations. “It's not just a speed bump to him. It hasn't been a holiday for him," says Turner. However, he did say that Willie was happy that the case could be settled without his presence in court.

Turner went on to say that many people had access to the tour bus. “It’s not an open-and-shut case,” he says. “I’d like to think it was because he had a good lawyer.”

Willie Nelson has not stopped, though. His Country Throwdown tour continues with Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Lee Brice and more.
