William Shatner Expands Brad Paisley's Horizons

Brad Paisley recently reflected on a strange encounter with for Star Trek star, William Shatner. The two celebs have become friends over the past couple of years and Shatner even appeared in Paisley's "Celebrity" music video.

Paisley told GAC he invited Shatner over to his farm about a year ago when he knew that Shatner would be in town for a film he had in the Nashville Film Festival.

It was “one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen,” Paisley told CultureMap.com. “I came home from the recording studio, and [he] was already over at the house, playing with my two-year-old son in the basement — with light sabers. I walked in to see my son and Captain Kirk, dueling with light sabers. I looked over at my wife, and asked, ‘What the hell kind of bizarre universe have I just walked into here?’”

Paisley will tape an upcoming CBS special in Las Vegas next month as he takes part of the ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn - The Last Rodeo. The special will air on May 23.
