I Think I Have the T1S1 Virus
I’m sometimes not feeling too well lately and I’ve diagnosed myself with the T1S1 virus, also known as the Swift Flu.  It comes from being overexposed to the vastly talented Taylor Swift.  The Country Music Association is all geeked up now because she will open the 43rd Annual CMA Awards Wednesday night.  I love Taylor Swift and think she’s got a great career already and ahead of her.  Let’s just hope her marketers don’t wear her out from overexposure here.

Carrie Says Brad Better Behave
Carrie Underwood says she’s more excited than nervous about hosting the CMA Awards Wednesday night with Brad Paisley.  Carrie knows his reputation for being a prankster and says as long as he doesn’t do something like hide one of her dresses, she’s cool with the pranks.  Brad is up for 7 awards also.

Coming Soon To A Theater Near You – Kenny Chesney In 3D
If you can’t see Kenny Chesney live in concert next year (as he’s said he’s not touring), you can catch him in 3D at a theater in “Kenny Chesney:  Summer In 3D”.  The concert footage was shot in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Seattle, Boston and Indianapolis.  See Kenny Chesney Wednesday night at the CMA Music Awards as he performs with Dave Mathews.

Rosanne Cash Cashing In On The List
The List, Rosanne Cash’s new release covering classic country songs, is receiving praise everywhere.  She’s on a media roll promoting it too.
Rosanne Cash will be featured on ABC’s prime-time TV special “In The Spotlight With Robin Roberts: Bright Lights. Big Stars. All Access Nashville” — a show billed as “candid conversations with country music’s hottest stars and up-and-comers” — on Tuesday, November 10th at 10 p.m (EST). Interviewed by Roberts in New York City, Cash opens up about her musical heritage and how her current album was inspired by a list of 100 essential country songs her legendary father Johnny gave to her when she was a teenager.  I remember when she was just a pup.

Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood on AMA’s
Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood are the only country acts scheduled right now for the American Music Awards.  At least there’ll be something good on the show.  Taylor Swift (see T1S1) leads all nominees with 6.  Woof.

Montgomery Gentry Says There “Ought To Be More Songs Like That”
At least that’s the title of their new single, which Eddie Montgomery co-wrote.  It is said to be about hard work, forgiveness and overall social responsibility.  I think there ought to be more songs like about prison, drinking, divorce, and drinking.  Woof.
