Carrie Underwood had to fight back tears in the studio when she was recording one track on her upcoming ablum, Play On, which hits the stores tomorrow, November 3.

According to TheBoot.com, Carrie said "In the studio, I had a big problem finishing that song ['Temporary Home']. I usually want to pay attention to the words while I'm singing, because you want to feel something. But on the last verse, every single time, I'd choke up. [Producer] Mark Bright was like, 'We just need it once. Just get it done once.' I remember thinking about my dog and about organizing my garage while I was singing this serious song."

Following the realease of her third studio album, the American Idol winner has a busy few weeks coming up as she will co-host the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley.  Carrie will also perform at the awards as well as on Good Morning America live broadcast on the morning before the CMA's, and appear on CMA Robin Roberts Special the same day (Nov. 10). Carrie is also nominated and will perform at the American Music Awards, and has her own special airing on FOX on December 7.
