People, just like us dogs, have different ideas of how to have fun. Multi-Grammy winner Carrie Underwood is having fun this summer working on her next album. She’s busy in the studio and writing for it. Carrie says she is not touring because she wanted to focus on one thing and that was making a great record. I know, I know Carrie…kind of like when I’m chewing on a bone.

 

Darius Rucker At Gang Camp?

Headlines are so deceiving. The new country music star took a little time to spend at the Victory Junction Gang Camp which gives chronically ill children a chance to go to summer camp. Darius spent some time fishing and playing with the kids. He gave them a show too! The camp was started by Kyle Petty and his wife in honor of their son Adam. Way to turn a tragedy into good Kyle. Woof!

 

Viva Las Vegas Garth!

According to a report on the extra website, Garth Brooks will be doing a 16 week engagement in Las Vegas at the Encore Resort & Casino. That’s fine Garth but don’t expect any word of mouth advertising for shows in Vegas.

The Bacon Brothers (Kevin and his bro Michael) are set to make their Grand Ole Opry debut on September 1. In fact it will be a brotherly night as they join The Bellamy Brothers onstage to since the latter’s new single, “Guilty of the Crime”. The Bacon Bros helped The Bellamy Bros record the song. Bacon and The Grand Ole Opry…yum yum.
