I don’t think John Rich will be on Nashville Star when it cranks up a new season. Rich recently told GAC that NBC bastardized country music. I’m not totally sure but I think that means he didn’t like how it went.
 
Taylor Swift and Jimmy Wayne are helping the Grammy Foundation and Best Buy promote healthy hearing among youth. Seems its more of a problem with the rise of personal listening devices. I’m all ears for that.
 
Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins, Jamey Johnson, and Jake Owen are joining previously announced artists Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Julianne Hough, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, and John Rich at the CMA Music Festival. It doesn’t take a Bloodhound to track down a good performance at the Music Festival. Go once and you’ll want to come back.
 
The Academy of Country Music has this year chosen Gloriana as the group to document their attendance at the week-long activities surrounding the ACM Awards. Their documentary will be featured on CBS.com. Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum have done this in the past. I tried to do it with my exclusive Webb-cam one year, but the video was mainly a bunch of people’s butts. Wish I was taller.
