Webb's Woof - Trace Grand Marshal

Posted by Webb on 03/18/2009

Big man Trace Adkins is the Grand Marshal for the Goody’s Fast Pain Relief 500 in Martinsville this Sunday, March 29. Great exposure for Trace and it ought to be a lot of fun, but I’m getting a headache just trying to remember that race’s name.

Eric Church’s new album, Carolina, comes out March 24. His first single off that release, “Love Your Love The Most”, is already playing on radio. Eric calls his fan base “the church choir”. Can I get an Amen?

Holly Williams, daughter and granddaughter of Hank Jr. and Hank Sr. respectively, has a new cd coming out yesterday (sometimes I’m a little behind on the news). It is called Here With Me. Don’t we all wish Hank Sr. still was?

And Keith Urban’s new release, Defying Gravity, started premiering yesterday (I told you we were behind) on iLike. They are going to offer one new single per day till the full cd is released March 31. Keith will do a video clip each day to introduce that day’s new tune, and they’re giving away concert tickets. Really, does an artist of Keith’s caliber need all that hype? But hey, free tickets, good news for fans!
