Tim McGraw is starring with Sandra Bullock in the movie adaptation of “The Blind Side”. It’s the story of an African-American teen who is taken in by a well-to-do “white” family, according to the press release, though I refer to them as Caucasian-American. Anyway, Tim plays the patriarch Sean Touhy while Sandra Bullock is the wife Leigh Anne. It is a true story about Michael Oher, who’s expected to go in the first round of the NFL draft this year. Its set in Atlanta. Hope Tim can fake that southern drawl.

Hank Williams Jr. is promoting his “Bocephus Bailout Package” where a lucky winner can become a member of his crew for a day. He’s also pumping his new single “Red White and Pink Slip Blues”. So is that what the winner gets after one day on the job?

You don’t hear a lot about the people behind the music in Nashville. But remember the name Dan Huff. Dan scored a chart “hat trick” by charting three #1 albums, three weeks in a row. They are Martina McBride’s Shine, Keith Urban’s Defying Gravity, and now Rascal Flatts’ Unstoppable. So I guess you could say Dan’s star is defying gravity and shining so bright he might just be unstoppable.

Major woof’s to Jason Aldean who’s new release Wide Open charted at #2 on the country charts and #4 overall with first week sales of just over 100,000. It is his best first week ever. And he did it without any help from Dan Huff.

Webb’s Daily Woof – “I’m glad Google hasn’t developed the ability to pick up scents yet. There’s still something left for Bloodhounds to search for.”
