Webb's Woof - Rascal Flatts Sets Record For Length of Tour Name

Check out the name of Rascal Flatts’ new tour – The Rascal Flatts American Living Unstoppable Tour sponsored by JC Penney with associate sponsor Hersheys. When they play in Raleigh, NC it will be at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek. I’d hate to have to design that t-shirt.

The Country Music Association has announced performers for the daytime performances at Riverfront Park at the CMA Music Festival. They are Jason Michael Carroll, Bucky Covington, Emerson Drive, Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, Jessica Harp, Jo Dee Messina, Heidi Newfield, Oak Ridge Boys, James Otto, Phil Vassar, Chuck Wicks, and more. That’s just to warm you up for the night time shows. Plenty to wag about there.

Meanwhile CMT has announced some performers for the CMT Music Awards. It’s a shorter list right now including Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, and Rascal Flatts. I don’t think I’d trade my CMA Music Festival tickets for that.

Major Woofs to Nicole Kidman for participating in the March for Babies, which raises money for babies in need. Maybe she can help out some puppies sometime too.

And Martina McBride has partnered with Napa Valley’s Blackbird Vineyards for a “Signature Series” wine. The bottles have Martina’s signature stamped on them. According to the press release – “The 2006 Martina McBride "Signature Series" Proprietary Red Wine reveals luscious aromas of wild raspberries, black cherry, cassis, and smoky cedar. On the palate, jammy fruit flavors blend with cocoa and forest floor notes. This multi-layered wine provides great texture and volume, displaying tight-grained tannins and a medium-long finish.” I think I’ll just have a whine and a beer.

Webb’s Daily Woof – “Approach life today as if you were a puppy. Now let me see you wag.”
