Webb's Woof - Now They'll Be After Carrie For Her Money Too

Another big Woof to Carrie Underwood for another #1!  Carrie earned $14 million last year to place as #1 on Forbes list of the top American Idol money makers. Kellie Pickler also came in 5th on the list with $2.3 million in earnings.  Congrats ladies, that’s a lot of bones.
Kenny Chesney’s released his Greatest Hits II this week.  It includes his latest single “Out Last Night”.  So is that like false advertising since that’s not really even a hit yet?  No wonder what’s her name left him.
Kellie Pickler’s going to be on the Ellen DeGeneres Show soon.  Kellie says she wants to see if Ellen will go skydiving with her.  Kellie thinks it will be great and they can Twitter while they’re plummeting.  I wonder how many characters per foot that’d be?
Steve Earle’s new Townes release debuted this week at #6 on Billboard’s country chart, but more importantly at #19 on Billboard’s Top 200.  Who says you can’t teach an old dog (no offense Steve) new tricks!
Hank Sr.’s granddaughter and Hank Jr.’s daughter, Holly Williams, is putting out her new release – Here With Me – June 16.  Holly is also singing on the Grand Ole Opry tonight (May 21) on Classic Country night.  She’ll be busting out some tunes from granddad and dad.  Sing my fave Holly, “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”.  Think about it.
Woof to The Eli Young Band for their first Top 10 single “Always The Love Songs”.  You might catch them opening for Jason Aldean or Alan Jackson.  Then again, you might not.

I'm pitching in for a very good cause, to help the Brown Dog Foundation's Coronation Pawty fundraiser.  The Brown Dog Foundation helps pay the veterinarian bills for people who's pets need medical care but the owner's cannot afford it.  Twenty-two dogs and cats from across Tennessee have been campaigning to win.  June 6th from 6-8 PM at The Farm at Natchez Trace (just outside Nashville) they'll have the Coronation Pawty.  It's $15 per person, animals free, all for a good cause.  And they're serving my favorite beverage - Flying Dog Beer - and serving Whitt's BBQ.
Best part is I never kiss and tell.  Ya'll come!
