The tabloids are accusing LeAnn Rimes of having an tryst with Eddie Cibrian, who costars with her in an upcoming Lifetime movie, “Nora Roberts’ Northern Lights”. LeAnn posted a response on her website saying give her a break, while Cibrian says its all fabricated. All I can say is I’m a dog, so I love you unconditionally LeAnn.

Witty Blake Shelton says one of the perks of having a #1 hit like “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” is getting more attention from country music idols like George Strait. Blake says up until now, when he has an offer to tour with Strait, he’s only had brief encounters with the superstar…and that usually girlfriend Miranda Lambert gets more attention from him. That George must have more than an eye for good lyrics. Woof.

Josh Turner’s in the studio working on his next album, which doesn’t have a name yet. Josh could sing like a frog and I’d like him…he’s a Bloodhound lover.

Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd are touring together again this year. Also, Skynyrd’s in Nashville, Music City USA, recording an album. I still love that “Swamp Music” song – “When the hound dog starts singin’, I ain’t got them big ol’ city blues”.

And Martina McBride did an interview with Out magazine as an outreach to the gay community. They asked her if President Obama’s election as the first black president would open the door for gays in country music. Martina said she didn’t know. What I know is this, that’s the most rationally unsound question I’ve ever heard. Black is to President as Gay is to Country Music?

Webb’s Daily Woof – “The grass is always greener on the other side, until you get over there and pee on it a few times.”
