Webb's Woof - Carrie's Always Been A 10 In My Book

Carrie Underwood’s latest single, “I Told You So”, has gone to #1 on the charts and that is historical. It is Carrie’s 10th number one hit. Carrie is the first Country Music performer to achieve 10 number one’s in their first two album releases. Since it has been my humble dog’s opinion Carrie has the best voice out there next to Martina (sorry Carrie) this is no big news…I um, uh, "told you so". Woof.

Brad Paisley is featured on the cover of the current Billboard magazine.  Brad’s prepping for his new release and tour of the same name, American Saturday Night. He’s also the reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year. Brad says the premise is that wherever they are playing it will be like a Saturday night. Yum, Saturday night to me means grease dripping off the grill and juicy leftovers.

Jimmy Wayne, who we hope someday will get a last name, got stuck on his tour bus recently and had to climb out a back window with the help of a ladder. JW’s big on blogging so he made a video of it and posted it on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dDk4VIN_GA. I hate it when people poke fun at themselves. That’s like taking my job away. 

 

The CMA Awards are going to be broadcast live November 11, 2009 on ABC. Did you know they rank only behind the Grammy’s and Academy Awards in viewership. There sure are a lot of CountryHounds out there!

Add Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins and Jason Aldean to the Who’s Who list of performers for the CMT Awards June 16th. I’m working on my rendition of “Hound Dog” because I just know I’m going to be the next big name Country Music act they invite. “Don’t woof us we’ll woof you.”
