The ACM Awards do not air till Sunday but Brad Paisley is already racking up awards. The Academy announced yesterday he’s won Video of the Year for “Waitin’ On A Woman”. Brad and Keith Urban also won Vocal Event for “Start A Band”. If Brad keeps going he could be Best In Show. Woof.

Rodney Atkins new release, It’s America, is all about simple life and the heartland he says. I’m glad he cleared that up. A big old Woof to Rodney. I like the simple life…eat, sleep, sniff around a little. Hope it has something about dogs…just ain’t America without them.

Elizabeth Cook has been added to the cast of a musical tribute to Conway Twitty that will be touring the country. Elizabeth, the press release says, is the youngest of 11 brothers and sisters. That ought to help ticket sales.

Stephen Cochran was surprised recently to find his tour bus had been wrapped in a patriotic theme. Cochran was wounded pretty bad while serving our country and has been overseas to perform many times. I hope the decoration included dogs…just ain’t America without them.

Travis Tritt’s doing a free Earth Day show in Austin, TX. I always associated Travis Tritt with the green movement.

Capitol Records is releasing Ron White’s (Blue collar comedian) new album, Behavorial Problems. Sounds like me and ole Tater Salad have some of the same issues.

And Craig Morgan’s the new spokesperson for Bush’s Grillin Beans. My inside scoop is that the only reason Craig got the job is that Bush’s famous dog Jake turned it down saying he just couldn’t endorse a product that won’t work. Seems Jake was trying to actually grill the beans and they just kept falling through the grate. Poor Jake.
