Webb's Woof - $64 Million Kenny

Kenny Chesney’s made $64 million since June of 2008. The only country music acts close to him were Rascal Flatts with $60 million and Toby Keith with $52 million. Taylor Swift was the highest grossing female at $18 million. Just think what they would have made if people didn’t “share” music downloads!

 

To congratulate the King, George Strait, for being named Artist of the Decade by the Academy of Country Music, Wrangler jeans, Justin Boots, and Resistol…brands he’s been associated with for years…gave George some presents. They included a special made saddle, some custom made Chocolate Elephant Ropers (I think that’s boots) from Justin, and a pure beaver hat from Resistol. That’s a lot of animals for George to be wearing. Perhaps he should stay away from Carrie when he’s in that outfit.

 

Dierks Bentley is all giddy about his upcoming tour in Australia with Brooks & Dunn. Dierks says he’s anxious to check out some real Australian culture – pubs. Better keep them amps down low at the sound checks mates.

 

The latest CMA Music Festival News – Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and Wynonna Judd have been added to the line-up of the nightly concerts. BUT also Naomi Judd will join Wynonna as The Judds reunite, setting aside any differences! That’s some mighty fine music there and yes “Love Can Build A Bridge”!
