Vince Gill Is Temporary "Time Jumper"

Betts Oklahoma-born Vince Gill’s musical roots certainly include western swing, so with time off from his concert tour last night (10/22), he joined the Time Jumpers at Nashville’s Station Inn, during the group's regular Monday night gig, playing swing music at the popular nightspot. Vince fit right in with the eight-piece band, as the group’s leader, Kenny Sears, introduced him as a “part-time Time Jumper.” Vince performed a swing version of his hit “Go Rest High on That Mountain,” and sang another of his classics, “Look At Us.”
