Vince Takes on Solo Symphony Gigs

1/18/2008 Stephen L. Betts Vince Gill has performed several Christmas concerts with his wife, Amy Grant, with both of them backed by the Nashville Symphony during their performance. But he has yet to go solo with the orchestra. That’ll change in 2009, when Vince is the featured entertainer in the Symphony's Pops series. Vince has plenty of time to rehearse. His three performances are set for Jan. 15, 16, and 17 next year. Also in the symphony's Pops series are Grand Ole Opry members Riders in the Sky, who’ll play three shows on Feb. 19, 20, and 21, 2009.
