Vince Has Beatle Moment, Teases Kanye

Betts Vince Gill and Kanye West both came up short in the multi-genre Album of the Year category at the Grammy Awards Sunday night (2/10), but Vince couldn’t resist needling the outspoken rapper after winning Best Country Album for These Days. When presented his Grammy by Ringo Starr, Vince quipped, “I just got an award given to me by a Beatle. Have you had that happen yet, Kanye?” Highlights of the live telecast included Carrie Underwood’s percussive version of “Before He Cheats,” Grammy winner Brad Paisley serving up “Ticks,” and Dierks Bentley taking the stage to pay tribute to Grammy Lifetime Achievement winner Earl Scruggs.
