Vince Gill and Amy Grant Plan Christmas Tour

Beginning with a Dec. 4 concert in Manchester, N.H., Amy Grant and Vince Gill will make a 15-date Christmas tour. The tour concludes with shows at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Dec. 22 and 23. Amy Grant is releasing a new Christmas album as well.Gill's daughter, Jenny, will participate as a harmony vocalist with their 12-piece band, which includes a horn section. "Some of our earlier Christmas tours were with a symphony orchestra," Gill said. "This time, though, we wanted to create more of an intimate, living room feel." Grant will also her new Christmas album, The Holiday Collection, on Tuesday, Sept. 30, featuring songs from her previous holiday albums, as well as four new songs. She and Gill co-wrote one of the new songs, "Baby It's Christmas."
