3/10/2008 Meaghan Mitchell Carrie Underwood is topping the charts for the sixth time already.  As a three-time GRAMMY winner, ACM Top Female Vocalist, and back-to-back CMA Female Vocalist of the Year it should come as no surprise that Underwood's latest single, "All-American Girl," hit No. 1 this week.  The single is making waves in radio and television. "All-American Girl" makes this Underwood's sixth consecutive No. 1 single on the country airplay charts.  It is her second consecutive co-written single to hit #1, following her first hit co-writing efforts of "So Small".   Both are from her Double-Platinum sophomore album, Carnival Ride. "All-American Girl" is currently the #1-selling Country Top Music Video and the #1 Country Top Song at iTunes, where it was also a recent #1 on the all-genre Top Music Videos chart. On CMT's Top 20 Countdown, "All-American Girl" became the network's all-time fastest rising video, reaching #1 in just two weeks and re-gaining the top spot again this week.  CMT's Senior Vice President, Jay Frank says, "Carrie Underwood continues to make songs and videos that connect with CMT viewers immediately."  The video was also #1 on CMT.com in the week of its online premiere, streaming nearly 400,000 times in less than a month, according to CMT's internal tracking. "All-American Girl" is also ranked #1 at GAC's Top 20 Countdown, which is all-fan-voted.  The video was #1 the first three weeks on the chart. Carrie Underwood is the only artist in GAC history to debut a video at #1 on the countdown, a feat she first accomplished with "Before He Cheats".
