Carrie Underwood Extends Carnival Ride

6/10/2008 Patricia Montesinos The Grand Ole Opry’s newest Country Music starlet is seeing no signs of an impending career slump.  Carrie Underwood’s people announced more dates to her U.S and Canada Carnival Ride tour due to fans’ overwhelming demands for tickets. The additional tour dates will keep Underwood in a steady stream of performances through mid-December.  Ticket-holders can look forward to Country Music's Top Vocal Group of the Year, Little Big Town, opening the night for Underwood after Sept. 23.  She is currently touring with opening act Jason Michael Carroll, until June 24.  Tickets to Underwood's additional tour dates go on sale June 20.
