Uncle Kracker Makes Taylor Swift 'Smile'

Taylor Swift has had a lot to “smile” about this past week: her 20th birthday celebration, rumored boyfriend Taylor Lautner visiting her in Nashville and People magazine featuring her in their “25 Most Intriguing” issue. It’s no wonder the Country starlet recently selected Uncle Kracker’s single, “Smile,” as her No. 1 song on her iTunes celebrity playlist.

“This song has been known to turn cloudy days into sunny ones for me, just because it’s that happy. It makes me think of whomever I’m thinking of and smile,” Swift said.

In an interview with The Boot, Kracker said he is flattered Swift enjoys his song and admits he is a fan of hers too.

“I’ve never crossed paths with Taylor Swift, but my kids are huge fans of hers. And I’m a fan as well, but it meant more to me that my kids read about that,” Kracker explained. “That’s when my kids finally realized what I do. You think they get it, and you hope they get it, but you know deep down they don’t really get it. They see stuff like that and it really kind of blow their minds. So that scored huge points for dad.”
