Twangfest Returns for 15th Year in St. Louis

It was announced this Tuesday that the non-profit music festival Twangfest, presented by St. Louis' 88.1 KDHX, will celebrate its 15th anniversary in St. Louis June 8-11.

 

Twangfest, which is a collaboration of rock, Americana, soul and roots music, was held last June and sold out for two of the four nights. Headliners for the last festival included Blue Rodeo, Detriot Cobras, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jason & the Scorchers and Big Smith.

 

Twangfest will be hosting day parties at Jovita’s March 17 and 19, 2011, for those in attendance at South by Southwest in Austin. Lineups and details will be revealed over the course of the next few months.
