Jason Aldean’s “The Truth” holds the No. 1 spot for another week this week. The hit single, from his platinum album, Wide Open, marks the third consecutive multi-week No. 1 for the Country rocker.

“I don’t think my fans expected me to come out with a song this traditional, but it was important to me to show them this side of what I like to do as well.  It may have been a curve-ball for them, but for me, it was an obvious nod to some of my childhood influences like McGraw and Strait,” Aldean said.

Aldean has spent eight weeks out of the last nine months at the top of the charts, more than any other Country artist in the last year.

He is currently setting attendance records and selling out arenas during the winter leg of his Wide Open tour. Later this spring, he will join Brooks & Dunn for a portion of their Last Rodeo tour.
