Trisha Gets Loud for Garth's Rowdy Crowd

Betts Trisha Yearwood, who’s finishing up the nine-concert stint in Kansas City with husband Garth Brooks tonight, admits she had to change her live show in order to fit in with the raucous crowd he routinely draws. “If you've never been to a Garth show, it's just different,” says Trisha. “When we opened for him in 1998, I told the band ‘just play as loud as you can because you won't be heard above the crowd.’ It was unbelievable.” Trisha's set will also be included in the nationwide simulcast tonight, scheduled for 300 theaters across the country.
