8/3/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Toby Keith has welcomed a new band, Trailer Choir, to his Show Dog Nashville record label. Toby had been hearing buzz about the group and stopped by Nashville's 12th & Porter nightspot to catch one of the band's performances in late 2006. Impressed by the revival-like intensity of their live show, Toby became an instant fan, and has also taken them out on his Ford Trucks-sponsored Big Dog Daddy Tour. Says Trailer Choir’s leader Butter, “To be working with Toby Keith and Show Dog is a dream come true for all of us.” In addition to Butter, the trio includes Crystal Hoyt and Vinnie "The Mack" Hickerson. They were recently featured on CMT Loaded as “Ones to Watch.” “In a way, our music feels like a sport," says Butter. "Getting this record deal, I feel like we've made the playoffs … now we have to dig a trench and win a Super Bowl!”
