Tracy Lawrence announced that as part of this weekend’s special two-day tour of Norfolk Naval Station and Fort Bragg, military personnel will be able to purchase his newest album, The Rock, 10 days before the CD hits retail shelves. Lawrence will visit with troops individually during a meet and greet session, as well as sign CDs during the event.

“I’ve been told by a number of listeners that The Rock has really touched them in some way,” Lawrence said. “I cannot imagine the emotions and turmoil our service men and women endure on a daily basis and to bring an emotional or moving message ‘home’ to them is the least I can do as a memento of my heartfelt appreciation for taking care of me and my family and our entire country.”

The two-day tour kicks off at Norfolk Naval Station in Norfolk, Va., on May 31 and wraps up at North Carolina’s Fort Bragg on June 1. The Rock will hit retail shelves on June 9.
